Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Dogenote! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dogenote mobile application (the "App"). By accessing or using Dogenote, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue the use of the application immediately.

1. Eligibility Dogenote is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this App. By using Dogenote, you confirm that the information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

2. Account and Security Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Any activities occurring under your account are your responsibility. Dogenote is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence. If you suspect unauthorized access, report it immediately to support@dogenote.com.

3. User ConductUsers must respect others and adhere to community guidelines. Activities such as posting harmful, offensive, or illegal content, harassment, hate speech, unauthorized commercial activities, impersonation, and sharing explicit or misleading content are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or account termination.

4. Content and Intellectual PropertyUsers retain ownership of the content they upload but grant Dogenote a license to use, display, distribute, and modify content for service enhancement. Content must not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Dogenote reserves the right to remove any content violating these Terms.

5. Live Streaming and Chat FeaturesDogenote provides live streaming and chat features, which must be used responsibly. Users engaging in inappropriate behavior, harassment, or abuse will face immediate action, including bans. Dogenote reserves the right to monitor and moderate content to ensure compliance with safety policies.

6. Transactions and PaymentsDogenote’s in-app shop allows users to purchase products using credit card payments. All transactions are final, subject to refund policies in accordance with Google Play Store regulations. Users must ensure that their payment details are accurate. Dogenote is not responsible for losses due to incorrect payment details.

7. Privacy and Data UseDogenote collects and processes personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using Dogenote, you consent to data collection for app functionality, personalized recommendations, and security measures.

8. Termination and SuspensionDogenote reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may request account deletion via [Support Email]. Dogenote is not liable for data loss following account termination.

9. Limitation of LiabilityDogenote is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Dogenote is not responsible for user-generated content and interactions.

10. Refund & Cancellation PolicyPurchases made within the Dogenote app are subject to Google Play Store refund policies. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subscription cancellations prevent future charges but do not entitle users to a refund for past payments.

11. End User License Agreement (EULA)By using Dogenote, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App. Reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or attempting to disrupt the service is strictly prohibited. Violation of this license may results in termination of access and potential legal action.

12. Changes to These TermsDogenote may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via in-app notifications.

This policy complies with Google Play Store requirements, including the Data Safety Form, Age-Based Rating, and app permissions justification.

  • IP      address and geolocation data (if permission is granted).
  • Cookies      and tracking technologies for analytics.

1.4 Chat and Messaging DataOur App includes chat and messaging features. We may collect:

  • Text      messages, voice messages, and chat interactions with other users.
  • Reports      of inappropriate behavior or policy violations.
  • Automated      moderation analysis to detect harmful content.

1.5 Payment InformationIf you purchase products within our App’s shop, we collect:

  • Transaction details such as      credit card information, billing address, and purchase history.
  • Payment processing is      handled by third-party providers; we do not store full credit card      details.

2. How We Use Your InformationWe use your data to:

  • Provide,      maintain, and improve the App’s functionality.
  • Personalize      your experience, including video recommendations.
  • Facilitate      social interactions (likes, comments, follows, and chat).
  • Monitor      and enforce compliance with community standards, including chat      moderation.

8. Refund & Cancellation PolicyIf you purchase any in-app items or subscriptions, you may be eligible for a refund in accordance with Google Play's refund policies. Refunds will be processed based on case-by-case evaluation. Cancellation of subscriptions will prevent future charges but will not retroactively refund previous payments.

9. Changes to This Privacy PolicyWe may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, regulatory requirements, or other operational adjustments. Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Continued use of Dogenote after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright Policy

Dogenote respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy outlines the rules regarding content ownership, copyright protection, trademark rights, and procedures for reporting violations.

1. Ownership of ContentAll content available on Dogenote, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, software, designs, videos, images, and text, is the property of Dogenote or licensed for use. Users are not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, or exploit any intellectual property without prior authorization from the rightful owner. Unauthorized use may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.

2. User-Generated Content and LicensingUsers retain ownership of the content they upload to Dogenote. However, by uploading content, users grant Dogenote a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from the content for the purpose of providing and improving the platform.Content uploaded to Dogenote must not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or any intellectual property rights of others. Users are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses before posting content.

3. Copyright Infringement and DMCA ComplianceDogenote complies with the relevant copyright laws. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed upon on Dogenote, you may submit a Copyright Infringement Notice to support@dogenote.com, including the following details:

  • A description      of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • The      exact URL(s) or a detailed description of where the allegedly infringing      material is located.
  • Proof      of ownership, such as registration details or original files.
  • Your      contact details, including full name, address, email, and phone number.
  • A      statement confirming that you have a good faith belief that the use of the      material in question is unauthorized.
  • A      declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice      is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on      their behalf.

Once a valid infringement notice is received, Dogenote may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the uploader. Repeat violations may lead to account termination.

4. Counter-Notification ProcessIf your content has been removed due to a copyright complaint, and you believe it was wrongly taken down, you can submit a Counter-Notificationto [Support Email], including:

  • Your      contact information.
  • A statement      that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  • Identification      of the removed content and its location before removal.
  • A      declaration, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief      that the content was removed in error.
  • Your      consent to the jurisdiction of courts in your country and agreement to      accept service of process from the person who filed the complaint.

Dogenote will review counter-notifications and may reinstate the content if the original claimant does not file a lawsuit within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Trademark PolicyDogenote respects trademark rights and prohibits unauthorized use of trademarks that may cause confusion. If you believe someone is infringing on your trademark, you may submit a Trademark Complaint to [Support Email] with the following details:

  • A      description of the registered trademark and proof of ownership.
  • Identification      of the infringing content and its location.
  • A      statement explaining how the content infringes on your trademark rights.
  • Your      contact details and a declaration of accuracy.

Dogenote will investigate all trademark complaints and take necessary action, including removal of infringing content.

6. Consequences of ViolationUsers who violate this policy may have their content removed, accounts suspended, or face legal action. Dogenote reserves the right to terminate accounts of repeat infringers and report illegal activities to relevant authorities.

7. Updates to This PolicyDogenote may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the revised policy. Users will be notified of significant changes.

Open Source License Policy

Dogenote may use open-source components in its software. This policy clarifies how we comply with open-source licenses.
